Love Your Extended Family

My extended family are angels in my life.  Each one is a precious gem whom I have carefully chosen for one reason or another.  I love each one and they have helped grow that love immensely over time.  Some of these angel jewels have been in my life for decades.  Others have come in more recently.  Each one has helped my heart to grow bigger.  Each has helped my heart to vibrate stronger with the golden love they give back to me.

I was cleaning out the debris and deleting some of the people who are on my friends list who have been inactive for over 90 days.  In other words, they no longer can access me so easily.  I thought, ah, if life were only that easy to delete some of our garbage family members.  You know what?  It is that simple!  Interestingly I heard from three of my extended family members lamenting about their bio-family yesterday.  That’s not surprising given the double water energy of the Pisces Sun and Pisces Moon.  So here’s my response to one of them whom I dearly love.

Out of sight, out of mind, out of my life! … Delete and hit the delete button in your heart!  You see, people like your sister just are so into themselves that they don’t really give a damn about you and others.  Yet look at all the others that you care about.  Those folks sincerely return your feelings back to you full circle. The ones you choose to have part of your extended family are the ones who truly care about your well being.  They care about what happens in your world.

So not only did I delete people from blog world, but also I went in and deleted people from my “family” email whom I never hear from, either verbally or in person, or through email.  They are unworthy of my love and my attention because they are apathetic about life.  Their energy must be very low vibrationally.  They certainly no longer vibrate in my world. Excuse me, but why flog a dead horse?

I want people who choose to live and who choose to love whole heartedly in my world.  I want people in my world who choose to live their lives on purpose.  They dedicate themselves to growing and evolving. They choose to make the world a better place for all of us to be. I want people in my world who truly do contribute love to the world and who sincerely care.  I choose to surround myself with people who vibrate at a higher energy level of truly loving in their hearts.   Their actions and their deliberate communication efforts show that what I do and what happens to me, matters in their hearts.

Hence my extended family have moved into my inner circle of caring and loving.  They have become my chosen sisters and brothers . in my web of life  They are the ones I will expend my energy on.  They are the ones who bring chats of happiness and joy to my heart.  These are the people to whom I will send my golden trinkets and treasures of my memories of day-to-day life.  These are the people I choose to share the rest of my life with.  These are the people who sincerely do care whether I live, whether I breathe, whether I thrive or not.

Now I have to tell you I was born into a deeply Christian family.  So now you know the rest of the story as well.  Nope, I have no great love for those who grace the church doors professing to be so pure in their Christian hearts.  Their actions totally belie their churchy words on Sundays.  I suspect the same holds true for every other religion, so religion has little to do with it.  Instead I view these “no-lifers” biological family members as being cancerous energy in my heart and in my soul.  So I just used the available Pluto energy and burned them out of my life and heart forever.

So my dear extended family member, just hit the delete button in your heart.  Instead of yearning for people from the past who are not worthy of your heart energy, hit delete!  Look to the people who love you NOW and embrace their energy whole heartedly.  Your life, your love, your heart and your soul are worthy of you surrounding yourself totally with love and loving people.  They are the ones you have been looking for approval from all your life.  They are the ones who will move forward into a loving future with you.  Allow yourself to love in the NOW.   Choose those who will love you for all your soul’s being in their future.  I love you and am grateful you are in my life, my angel.

Let’s increase the Love and vibrant energy of the planet!

Hugs and love from the Universe.

4 Seasons of Love

There are 4 seasons to our Love and relationships.  I’m referring to loving yourself, loving your family, loving your friends and loving your partner.  I’m convinced that 4 seasons cycle holds true in many different areas of our lives.  I believe we were giving the 4 seasons as a blueprint for those cycles that we can detect in our lives.  Think about this and apply it to yourself!  This can assist in your cycle of transformation and change which those who seek continual growth go through.

So if I’m truly engaged and active and upbeat, there will be a time in my life when my rhythm has to be the valley where I go deep inside and am quiet.  That gives me the balance. That does not mean I have lost the thing I am passionate about.  It means I have to experience the quietness of that passion to take it to a new level.

In the spring of the year, all seeds are bursting forth with newness and growth and vivid color.  The smell is different.  The colors are different.  All the senses are alert and alive.  Similarly, our passion for someone or something we love has to have seeds that burst forth.  During the newness or the beginnings of that love, our senses are like those of the springtime.

In the summer, the colors change.  They grow deeper as the flowers mature.  Much of the plants energy goes into creating these flowers and this beauty to attract the birds and the bees which help pollinate the plant.  Similarly in our relationships, we put a lot of energy into the love we have for another during the summer of that relationship.  We explore ideas together, we do things together, we spend a lot of time watering and feeding one another’s soul.

In the fall the rhythm of life changes.  We no longer need the bright colors to attract birds and bees.  The fruit is developing nicely.  This is similar to love energy.  It has been pollinated and is maturing.  It will be sustained if we have nurtured it, weeded out the stuff that doesn’t work for us both and fed the relationship with good topsoil of conversations and experiences. Our relationship has ripened and matured by a level of truth, honesty, trust and understanding.

In the winter, we tend to be quieter in our relationship.  It’s not hibernating, but is sustained under that lovely snowy blanket of white that holds everything we hold dear together.  That snowy blanket is woven through the love fabric of emotions that continue to water our love through both good times and others.  So sometimes we get a total new dusting of snow and at other times we get slush.  So what, our blanket of love is woven tightly enough to endure.  If we are very wise, we are planning together for the next phase or cycle of our lives.  We are deepening our relationship.  While this appears to be a quiet time, in fact life is teeming underneath the white mask we present to the outer world.  This is a time of introspection and quiet rhythms of day to day normal life with our partner or with our friends.  They accept us as we are.

We need the quietness of winter where everything is sleeping before we can burst forth with a new spring growth!  It comes full circle once again.  Wise ones will tell you that you need to continually work at your relationship to sustain it, to make it a perennial plant.  I want to suggest you look at having 4 seasons in your love relationship!

Reflect on the beauty that is truly within your heart.  You are wonderful and beautiful just as you are!

Nature’s Love Poems 2

Nature sings a Love Poem at every season of the year. We are so blessed by the gifts we receive from nature.  If we watch carefully, we learn all the Life Lessons we need to succeed.  Those gifts from nature are part of our roadmap through life.

Winter brings the gift of White Light.  In the country where I live there is only natural light at night.  It is never truly dark since the white snow reflects light once your eyes adjust.  Similarly, sometimes when it seems to be very dark in our emotional lives, all we have to do is open our hearts and feelings to the white light of our higher power.  We are never alone if we believe and have faith that there is a higher power.  I don’t care whether you call that higher power Buddah, Allah, God, Creator or any other name.  There is but ONE higher power.  When one examines the major religions of the world, fundamentally they all preach the same message.  That is a message of Love and caring for our fellow human being.

Winter brings the gift of slowing down the earth’s rhythms.  It is a time to go inside and to reflect.  It is a time to take life easier.  It is a time to simplify.  Winter is a time of Soul renewal in preparation for the rebirth that will awaken us in the spring.  Before we can have that rebirth, we must reflect, learn our lessons from the past year and grow from them.  Winter is very necessary on our soul’s journey.  Wintertime is the time to raise our consciousness.

Winter Fairy

Enjoy the magic of winter.  Believe in the magic of the little spirits that come whispering on the wind and into your hearts.  Be grateful for those inspirations that we call intuition!  Bless everything you have in your life by being grateful.  That increases the positive energy around you!  That’s the Law of Attraction.  Since winter is wonderful reflection time, then empower yourself!

If you want to increase good things in your life, remember to be grateful for what you already have.  Say a little prayer several times a day, just between you and your higher power.  By focussing on the positive energy in your life, you bring more positive energy into your life.  So watch what you feel in your heart and what you think even!

I’m delighted you came for a visit. Remember to give Green environmentally gifts year round! Enjoy!

Joy & Happiness in Life’s Game

Batter up!  Play ball.  Joy and happiness is a baseball game.  Self esteem and success in life is a baseball game.  Achievement is a baseball game.  Get real with yourself and play baseball!

We watched a program on the news last night where in one Canadian city, they are using baseball to help build the self esteem of homeless people.  What an awesome concept.  Most of us have played baseball as kids growing up.  So we all understand the concept and the metaphor.

Game of Life

Game of Life

So you miss the pitch the first time.  That’s okay.  You have three strikes and you are out.  You have to practice a lot to connect that ball and bat of life.  Strike one … so I made a few mistakes.  I get a second chance.  I even get a third chance to connect just for this one inning or phase of my life.  You hit a fly ball to the outfield and begin running like crazy.  Whew, you make it to first base.  You were successful.  The problem is everyone on your team of life might not be as successful as you are.  Someone struck out and your team goes to the field.  So someone on the team made a mistake.  That doesn’t mean the game is over by a long shot.  Heavens you get to be up at bat nine innings.  Wow!  That’s a lot of tries to change your circumstances in your game of life.  We have lots of innings in our lives.  Every day virtually brings us a new inning.  So you should strive to do the best you can, just for today.  Eventually you will totally connect with that ball.

It totally baffles me that so many people give up the Game of Life after striking out one or two times.  They whine and snivel and play the blame game rather than looking at their own role in their Game of Life.  They expend so much energy looking for others to blame, that they keep on attracting negative situations to their lives.  That’s the Law of Attraction.  That’s what they feel they deserve, so that is what they get.  They easily can change the dynamics by merely practicing a different and more positive way.  When they are pointing a finger at others, there are 4 fingers pointing back at themselves.  But they totally refuse to look at their own actions and their own behavior.  Blame game is for life’s losers.

Mickey Mantle’s strikeout record was not reknowned.  He didn’t go down in baseball history for it.  Yet Mantle was the player with the most strikeouts for 3 years.  We remember him only for his success.  How did he get there?  He practiced until he got it.   http://www.bamagal.com/nyy/mantle/mmrec.html.   Babe Ruth connected with the ball only .711% of the time.  That’s less than 10% of the time! Neither of these famous baseball players were successful one would think.  Yet, every one of us knows their names whether we play baseball or not.  You see, they never gave up.  They kept on practicing.  They kept on striving for a better performance.  They kept on fine tuning their game of life.  They practiced and practiced until they each were successful.

Life is like that.  If you don’t get it the first time, you practice and fine tune parts of your game that aren’t quite perfect.  No Game of Life is perfect.  So please be an angel to yourself.  Just work at practicing and perfecting the art of living.  Sometimes you connect with the ball and get to run some of the bases.  Sometimes you don’t.  That’s okay.  You are just playing the Baseball Game of Life.  When you have practiced long enough so that you are much better, then you have an amazing joy when you connect with that ball.  Batter up!  Play ball!

Reflection Questions:

1.       What 4 areas of my life do I need more practice so I can hit the ball?

2.     Do I give up after one strike out?

3.     Do I let other people on my team influence whether I win or lose Life’s Game?

4.     Am I willing to play more than one inning in the Game of Life?

Affirmation:  I intend to make the best of today, just for today.  I intend to live my life to the fullest, just for today.  I intend to play the best game of my life, just for today!  I intend to feel good about my life, just for today.  One day at a time!  The outcome of the game is totally up to me!

“Defeat is a state of mind.

No one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as reality.

To me, defeat in anything is merely temporary, and

its punishment is but an urge for me to

greater effort to achieve my goal.

Defeat simply tells me that something is wrong in my doing;

it is a path leading to success and truth.”

(Bruce Lee; 1940-1973)

4 Love Notes to Bridge Life’s Loss!

Love notes to life!  Bridge that pain one day at a time.  Find life once again. It’s just on the other side of the bridge.  Love is the highest energy of the universe.  So find some form of love that will carry you across the bridge away from your painful emotions.

Grief and loss is part of life’s journey. Sometimes our world is turned upside down seemingly in the blink of an eye.  Someone or a pet we love leaves us.  Our best friend won’t talk to us anymore. A job is suddenly over.  We move whether it’s across the city, across the country or across the world.   Our life circumstances change dramatically and we feel stressed.  Our world is no longer vibrant and alive.  In fact our world seems to be painted shades of gray and we are depressed. When any one of these life incidents happen to us, we need to take control of our emotions otherwise we can spiral emotionally downward pretty rapidly.

How can we stop that downward spiral?  Change the energy around you.  Empower yourself! Look in the mirror into your soul.  Your eyes are windows to your soul.  Say it 10 times in the morning.  Say it 10 times at lunch.  Say it 10 times before your go to bed.  Daily, tell yourself these 4 things until you feel better once again.  Repeat these affirmations throughout your day whenever you are feeling down.

  1. I love you.
  2. I can do this.
  3. Today is a new day.
  4. I choose new energy around me.

Think of something you positively love doing.  Then choose one thing and force yourself to do it.  I know it’s not easy, but it stops the spinning down for today. Focus only on feeling better, just for today. Cross that bridge and start living life!

Reflection Questions to Change Your Energy

1.  What are 10 things I usually love to do?

2.  Who makes me smile or makes me laugh so I can change this energy?

3.  What makes me smile or laugh usually?

4.  What music makes you grin?  Dance!  Be silly and change your energy!

There are a thousand different paths to love.

Everyone will find his or her own way,

if s/he listens to his or her heart.
