Celebrate synchronicity. Dance of Life. Cycle of Harvest time. You want balance in your life right? Grab it while you can! September 23, 2008 at 9:45 MDT the Fall Equinox arrived. We are now at the end of Libra Sun and have finally arrived at one of two days a year of balance between daylight and dark. The Spring Equinox is the second day of balance. The rest of the year you are unbalanced along with the rest of the earth. So isn’t that fabulous? Oh did you miss it? I did! I wrote it down in my planner on the wrong date when Mercury was retrograde. Still you need to understand the importance of these transition dates in our lives.
Here’s why. When one is totally in balance, one is in the state of homeostasis. There is no energy movement. What you see on the outside, you see on the inside at the cellular level. That’s your DNA saying, “I’m totally okay!” You are on an even keel, including emotionally. Yin-yang.
Since the Moon is constantly shifting, it does not permit this balanced feeling for very long. In other words, we teeter-totter our way through life. We strive for the elusive balancing act for at least 363 days of the year. Whew, that’s a relief since my New Year’s Resolution was to become more balanced this year. I don’t think so honey! When only point .005% of our year remotely allows us to be in balance, how can we hope to have it happen? We can’t. If we live with the premise that balance in our lives is a good thing, we will always be on the teeter-totter, see-sawing every day. That’s the dance of life folks, striving for the elusive balancing act. We are all reaching for the goal of moon dust balance.
Solstice Spring to Fall
Here’s a gorgeous Picture of Sun Equinox: The Sun from Solstice to Solstice Credit & Copyright: Tunç Tezel (TWAN) that I found this morning on this website http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap080922.html. You see, I’m in total awe of the cycles in our lives. They influence us in ways we are not aware of at the conscious level.
By bringing the four seasons cycles to our conscious awareness, we can then begin our lifelong dance with the rhythm of the Universe. Astrologer, Rod Suskin in his 2005 book, Cycles of Life, states that “The simplest way to realign ourselves with the yearly rhythm is to admit the seasons back into our lives.” Suskin goes on to point out that our personal lives have the four cycles of spring, summer, fall and winter as well.
When we are in tune with our own birth chart, we are aware of these yearly cycles in our lives. Our spring cycle begins the day of your birth. Approximately 3 months later or ninety-one days begins our personal summer cycle. 91.25 days later begins our fall cycle. 91.25 days later begins our winter cycle. So dig out a calendar and start counting off the days. Those 4 dates are significant in your life. Your life energy will do a yearly dance around those dates. Karen and Tammy, for heaven’s sake put this in your planners! The rest of you would be wise to do so as well. Those are magical dates for you.
Synchronicity magical energy cycles. Here’s why they are magic. If you flow with your yearly personal energy cycle, life will flow more smoothly for you.
1. Spring time of your birth cycle – you are planting seeds for the first 91.25 days. It’s the time for beginning things in your year. It’s planning time. It’s time for you to answer the questions of who, what, where, when and how am I going to be able to complete this project.
2. Summer – for the next 91.25 days you are expanding those projects. It’s the time for you to put your plan into action. It’s time for you to water and fertilize those plans in order for them to grow.
3. Autumn or Fall – for the next 91.25 day it’s a time for you to harvest. You finish off those projects and you reap the reward of the hard work.
4. Winter – for the next 91.25 days the fields lay fallow. It’s cocooning time. It’s a time of resting for you. Now is the time for dreaming. It should be quiet time.
Think about it! Put those dates on your calendar and live with your own personal yearly energy.
In the meantime, celebrate the Fall Equinox tomorrow. Do a yearly feast. Look at that gorgeous Moon. Be grateful for the abundance you have in your life. People who live close to the earth know instinctively that this is the Harvest time. They celebrate. I am grateful this day to discover my personal life cycle
of spring, summer, winter and fall.
I am thankful for the abundance that comes to me each day.
The unthankful heart… discovers no mercies;
but let the thankful heart sweep through the day and,
as the magnet finds the iron, so it will find,
in every hour, some heavenly blessings!
