8 Pieces to Positive Pie Consciousness

We invite into our lives what we are thinking about.  That’s the Law of Attraction in action.  So if you are thinking positive things, you attract them.  Yah but how do you prevent yourself from going down to the shadow side of yourself where dark thoughts lurk and negative thoughts bubble up?  Create a Positive Pie for yourself!

 

The Positive Pie is a Tool or Strategy to help you on your journey to shifting your thinking.  A friend taught me this some time ago as something she had read.  I’m sorry I don’t know the original source.  It certainly has helped me to reframe loads of stuff!

 

Step 1:  Draw 2 circles with a small circle in the middle and the larger circle outside … like a pie only a circle in the middle.

 

Step 2:  In the inner circle put the FEELING you want to manifest in your life. 

 

Step 3:  In the outer circle, divide it up into 8 pieces of the pie.  Depending on what I’m doing, I’ve created a template for an 8 piece pie.  I label each of the pieces 1 to 8. 

 

Step 4:  I then write in each piece where I already have that feeling I want to have pervade my life.  For me, feelings of contentedness and joy in being on my path was a huge destination.  That went in the smaller centre circle of my pie.

 

Step 5:  In each of the outer pieces I then jotted down WHEN, WHERE I already experience that feeling or that energy.  Whenever negative thoughts crept in, I grab my pie and read where in 8 different places I already know I have that positive energy.  It literally waters down the negative feeling since you KNOW you already are doing it. 

 

Step 6:  I then tell myself to STOP thinking in the negative and again reread where I already have this manifest in my life. 

 

Step 7:  It is when we focus our energy on the positive that we will bring more of the positive into our lives.  So I ensure that this feeling is something I have on my monthly vision board.

 

Step 8:  Reread affirmations you create for yourself around this feeling starting with the words, “I Intend”.  The word “intend” resonates at a higher energy frequency.

 

Step 9:  As much as is feasible or possible, tie your intentions to the energy of the day.  I write about the energy generated from both the movements of the Sun and the Moon on my astrology blog.

Love Yourself Bridge Strategies

It’s time for you to remove your mask.  You know what I mean!  It’s the mask you put on when you leave your home.  It’s the mask you put on every time you interact with another human being.  It’s the mask you have chosen to paint over the real you.   My question is, do you remember who the real you is?

 

Here’s what I know to be true.  God doesn’t make any junk (Ethel Waters).  So the true inner you is an angel of light and beauty.  Therefore you are the star of your soul’s parade.  It’s time for you to let your own personal light shine through that mask you have been wearing. 

 

So it’s time to strip away your mask and rediscover who the true you is.  I’m asking you to re-discover yourself to become the self actualizing person you came to this earth to become.  It’s time for you to go into Your Sacred Safe Place deep inside yourself and figure out your cornerstone belief system.  How can you do that?  Look to your mind-body-spirit-emotion connection

 

Find out what brings you happiness and joy in each of those cornerstones that form the foundation of who you came to be this lifetime.  Once you cross the bridge into being your true self, you get to strip away all the chaos from your life.  You are on your true path to manifesting the real you!  Your energy will connect with others who are vibrating with the same type of energy you are vibrating with.  Angels will come into your life out of seemingly nowhere.  Ah, doesn’t that feel better? 

 

Bridge your fear.  Step out of your fear shadow.  Step into the sunlight.  Let your personal light shine.  Love yourself.  Be yourself Yes you can … strip away those masks! Cross your bridge from fear to love and become the person you intend to be!

Pluto Shift and Crystal Healing Hearts

There is a shift in universal energy that all people are feeling.  Many are struggling with this shift in energy as their personal worlds and professional worlds are torn apart.  Astrologers will tell you it is primarily caused by Pluto entering Capricorn.  A new world is being born.  Pluto, god of the underworld is forcing all of us to face some of our deep rooted fears.  With some people the roof of the volcano is blowing off overnight.  In some cases they are losing secure jobs, homes, and their families seemingly in the blink of an eye.  In other cases the lava flow seeps slowly down through the things they value in their lives.  However when they look back over the past few months, the inevitable question is “what on earth happened to me?”   

 

There is a “secret” way to deal with this wisely and effectively.  Face your fear and flow with the energy.  Choose to do the inner transforming work on yourself.  The Pluto shift is demanding that you change things in your life that no longer hold true for you.  When you focus on fear energy or the things you worry about the most, then those situations will be brought into your life to give you the opportunity to grow.  Like a phoenix, you too will rise up from the ashes of your life a “richer”, and happier person. 

 

This can happen only if you allow yourself to let go of the things that no longer resonate in your own personal energy field.  In other words, get rid of your garbage collecting attitude.  Get rid of the garbage people who drag you down.  Time to take out the trash!  Once you clear your emotional house of the garbage, you can be changed.  Perhaps this is your opportunity to allow yourself to say “no” to certain things you have never liked, but were too afraid to address.  Perhaps this is your opportunity to  let negative people slip out of your life.  It is when you create space in your personal life by getting rid of the negative that you allow the positive to enter.  It’s in your power.  It’s in your control.  It totally is up to you.  What do you choose for your life?  Shift willingly and begin to grow towards the light energy!

 

Many people I deal with in spiritual counseling have asked for growth strategies to help them flow and move beyond their fears. One of the best and simplest I know of is changing the energy around you by carrying a Gratitude Rock.   I carry crystal rocks in the shape of a heart as my “gratitude rock” in my pocket all the time.  Usually these are amethyst or quart since that is what resonates with me.  Find what resonates with you.  It doesn’t have to be crystal.  Instead it can be a pebble that “speaks” to you when you are walking on one of your favorite paths through your Life’s Journey.

 

By carrying the Gratitude Rock with you, every time you touch it, stop for a brief moment and give thanks for the people and things you are grateful for in your life.  It is by focusing on the good things in our lives that we change the energy around ourselves.  It is by bringing to the conscious level that we are grateful that we attract more of those good things into our lives.  No it is not magic, it’s simply changing the energy around you from negative to positive.  When you touch the rock, use it as a visual reminder to choose the high road.  Use it as a reminder to get your ego out of the way and go with the flow.  Use it as a reminder to choose what is right for your soul.  Use it as a reminder that you are blessed with many wonderful things happening in your life.  By focusing on being grateful, the Universe brings you more things to be grateful for. 

 

My crystal rocks have all been cleansed and are surrounded with healing prayers of several healers.  Many people are brought to me who need emotional healing.  I generally give them one of these heart shaped crystals to carry with them the help remind them to shift their feelings and emotions.  Conscious shift has to happen before it can become a habit.  It takes 40 days to clear away old habitual thinking.  It takes another 40 days to create a new habitual way of thinking.  You truly will shift more quickly if you do this every day.  You also will shift more quickly if you begin this during the two weeks of the New Moon phase since that is the time of new growth.  The Full Moon phase is prime time for eradicating the garbage.  Full Moon is the ending of things. 

 

The Pluto shift is all about shifting our consciousness so that you can be the best person you came to this earth to be.  A revolution is happening.  Transformation and change is all around us.  Can you change?  Yes you can!  Be grateful.  Say a prayer of thanks. Let the Gratitude Rock help this to become part of your moment by moment life experience.  Believe in the magical energy of your world.  Many blessings!

ADHD, Behavior Problems & Plants

Kids and adults with ADHD or other jittery focus problems can be helped by plants.  As a specialist with severe behaviorial kids, I searched for any ways I could find to help the kids manage their own “out-of-control” behaviors.  You see their brain wiring differs from the regular population.  The kids know it, but often adults are not aware of this. 

 

In the last school I worked in before I retired, we had a small greenhouse. I taught my staff to help the kids to take control of their behaviors through various behavior modification techniques. I found that when a child was agitated for whatever reason, if a staff member took that child to the green house, they would soon calm down.  We had mats on the floor and it seemed that if the child could sit on the mat, or lay on the mat, the child would calm down much more quickly. In essence they were being closer to the earth.

 

We then could discuss where that specific problem started and how the child could monitor their own body reaction to what sometimes was an emotional trigger.  Sometimes, it was because they had eaten too much sugar or junk food.  Other times it was due to something someone said to them on the play ground.  In other words, we were trying to have the child understand their triggers, understand their body signals and begin to take control of their own reactions.  We gave the kids life skills for managing their own behavior.

 

The bottom line is, when a person is agitated, there is something in plants that helps to calm them down.  Can I explain what that something is?  Is there research to support it?  Good questions.  I’m not sure there is conclusive research.  However, I have found with extreme behavioral teens, when they are in extreme anger mode, if they have the opportunity to “hug a tree” for 5 minutes, they calm down immensely.  Ten years later, some of my teens are now adults and tell me they still use this technique to help them.  I also have talked to Greenhouse owners who tell me of how mothers will come in with kids who are crying or screaming even.  Within a very few minutes, the kids calm down. The mothers will calm down and all is a much better quality of life in their world.

 

Similarly, taking a walk outside in a garden or going to a campground which has lots of trees and natural life calms people down.  Why do you enjoy taking holidays to either the mountains, the ocean or a park?  These can be Your sacred Safe Places on earth. The positive energy of green growing things cannot be denied.  Sometimes I believe the angels and fairies must live among the plants!  Read the Secret Life of Plants, or one of the books about Scotland’s Findhorn Community and you will be amazed!

I intend to take a walk in nature to renew and refresh my spirit.

4 Ways to Change Fear of Life

Living life fully is a process. It’s called living your life on purpose.  Living your life and dealing with fear is also a process.  What is coincidental is they have the same steps to success, if you choose to live a life on purpose.  Each day of our lives we have angel people coming to lend us a hang up to the next stage.  It is our choice whether we choose to become self actualized people or choosing to remain bundled up in fear.

You see it is all about our willingness to change, grow and transform ourselves.  So the first step is the cocoon stage.  We have spun that cocoon filled with excuses like our genetics or our childhood environment.  Fear becomes our cocoon. We blame and feel shame about so many things in our lives.  Those and other scary feelings about life generate fear.  Lots of people choose to stay stuck in their cocoons all their lives.  They choose to remain in the winter time of their lives.  I call them the living dead.  People like this are so scared of everything that they truly are not alive. They are emotional stuck and their response to everything is child like.  Many of our bullies remain stuck at this stage all their lives.  They never grow unless they are willing to face their fears. Fear walks with them every step of their life’s journey so they put on their bully face hoping that people won’t see how insecure they are.  Their Emotional IQ is that of a young child.

 An angel comes calling.   Step two Some people are ready for soul growth.  They decide they truly do want to live life.   So they face their fears and come out of the sheltering cocoon they have built for themselves.  However they don’t want to venture too far and like a caterpillar walk around the edge of their leaf all their lives. While they have faced some fears, they still vibrate with the energy of fear.  They remain in the place of emotionally blaming others or thinking negatively.  So they too remain in the springtime stage of their Emotional IQ.  They truly never grow emotionally.   Many remain stuck at a teenage or late spring stage of their lives.

An angel comes calling.  Step three.  They are ready to venture off that leaf with more soul growth.  They have chosen to do the work on themselves.  They have dived deeply into their emotional well and healed themselves.  Instead of blame, they look to the lessons they learned from their honorable adversaries. They have a new broader cocoon that reaches out to the universe and Creator or God or a higher power.

 

 

 

They understand they have to continually feed their souls from the sweet nectar of positive life experiences.  They surround themselves with people who are choosing to move forward.   They surround themselves with books, people, events which are positive and vibrate at a higher level.  They turn their backs on anything that vibrates with negative energy and choose to reframe.  They identify the good life lessons in every situation.    They embrace the summertime of life and grow emotionally through all their life’s journey.  They are fully expressing their Emotional IQ.

An angel comes calling.  Step four Fall Phase These people are fully prepared for the final stage.  They understand Life is a Journey and know their soul’s wisdom is never lost.  They understand that physical death is the beginning of new life and new transition.  So they embrace the egg laying stage of their lives.  They transform since they have lived a life filled with joy and purpose.  They choose to be an angel to many.  Nature life’s cycle begins again!

4 Lessons Live Life with No Regrets

Honor yourself. Honor your intuition. Honor your feelings. When you choose to live life honoring your feelings, you choose to live life with no regrets. 

 

Many years ago, I lived a life full of hidden emotions.  I didn’t want anyone to know how I felt and learned to adopt a poker face so that no one could read my emotions.  I was the person everyone else turned to with their raw emotions and their problems.  I was unable to share my own.  After all, I was supposed to be the strong one for everyone else.  How wrong I was.  I did not honor my own feelings! 

 

As a result of keeping myself tightly bound up in my cocoon of emotional protection, neither the bad feelings nor the good feelings could leak out into the outer world.  What lessons I had to learn!  Along came an angel friend who gently guided me to the loving world of Leo Buscaglia when she gave me his book Love.  There were several lessons for me to learn.  You see, others perceive me as striding forward confidently throughout life.  Inside myself, I was a quivering mass of jello fears, shaking that someone might discover the truth of who I truly was.  As a result I lived with plenty of regrets at not telling people in person how I honestly felt about them.  Oh I wanted to, but I was so afraid of their reaction.  I held back and stayed in my fear cocoon.

 

So here are the four main lessons I learned from Leo Buscaglia that may helped me on my journey. 

 

4 Lessons to Live a Loving Life

 

  1. Love myself enough to honor my feelings.
  2. When I care for someone, to tell them I care for them. 
  3. When I need a reassuring hug, hug someone else so we both feel great!
  4. Tell everyone you care about specifically what they mean to your world.

 

The last one is kinda like the warm fuzzies.  If someone has done something that gives me the warm fuzzies, I tell them I appreciate them for doing ___.  They feel good.  I feel good.  Win-win energy to go around!  My wise father used to say “You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar.”  Fortunately I learned those lessons well decades ago.  When people have left the earth to become angels, I know in my heart I have told them exactly what they have meant to me.  I live life with no regrets.

 

That’s how you feed your own energy and that’s how you help to feed others positive energy.  We all need to be needed.  We all need to be appreciated.  We all need to hear that others are grateful for something we have done for them.  Therefore we need to let others know when we are grateful.  Allow yourself to experience the joy in life you so richly deserve.  You see this grows your happiness and joy bubble of bliss!  So be an angel to someone in your world every day!
