Water for Life Angels

Water for Life Angel

Water for Life Angel

Water for Life Angels.  They are the watchdogs over our water droplets.  Each droplet of water forms together with other rain water droplets to make our stream, lakes and rivers.  Each water droplet joins with its friends and flows eventually into our oceans.  That’s called the water cycle that joins up with the Living Earth cycle.

There are those who walk among us who are water angels on every continent.  Every country has its water angels.  Your community has water angels. They are the people who try their utmost to ensure you have a clean drinking supply.  Without clean water, people get sick and don’t live a quality of life. These folks take care of your local water supply trying to ensure it as clean as possible.  These people help keep our web of life alive.

Water is a fundamental need for all living things on this planet.  Food is a fundamental need.  Air is a fundamental need. Without these fundamental needs, all living things on this planet cease to exist.

You are an angel!

You are an angel!

Water angels get a halo I believe.  I’m privileged to sit on a committee of water angels.  These folks care enough about your water supply to give freely of their volunteer time trying to ensure the watershed we oversee remains healthy.  They jealously guard the health of the streams, rivers and lake that make up this watershed.  In our area, they represent 30 different groups from CEOs of large companies, to non-profit interest groups to scientists to local politicians.  However, just as important as the decision makers, is the person who is minding the water “store”.  That person is the one who is doing the water testing and works at water treatment plants.

If you know anyone who is working for your water health, the health of your family, and the water health of our planet, give them a big hug and a halo of thanks.  They have a very important job to do for all living things on our planet.  If you are one of them, then thank you for the work you choose to do. I’m grateful you walk among us.

Now here’s some food for thought.  Just as these folks preserve water for life, there are those angels who are watering your spiritual life.  They are helping to raise your global consciousness.  Give them a hug too!

Reflection Questions!

Real Earth Day

Today is the Real Earth Day with the Sun and Moon in Taurus, the “Mother-Earth” of the zodiac.  I am passionate about doing what I can to preserve the healthiness of our planet in my small piece of this sacred space.  We who live here have an obligation to demand that our governments, our industry and people who live in our town and home do what they can to make our sacred place a healthy one.  The wise ones say that what decisions we make today affect 7 generations.

At the very least plan on planting a tree this spring!  Trees are the lungs of our planet.

Reflection Questions!

1.      What decisions are you going to make for your Sacred Place, Mother Earth?

2.     What are four NEW things you can make as a habit to clean up your little piece of this earth?

3.     Who can you influence to keep our sacred planet clean and healthy for your children and grandchildren?

4.     What can you do to respect your water consumption?

Affirmations and Intentions:  I intend to walk lightly on Planet Earth.  I intend to influence my family and my friends in making a light carbon footprint.  I intend to plant 24 trees. I intend to make respecting the earth part of my daily spiritual journey

www.Ojolie.com has generously given us her Earth Day gift.  I’m grateful for angel Ojolie’s  artistic talents that she willingly shares with us. Please see the card at

Nature’s Spring Love Songs

Spring Peepers Sing a Song of Joy!  In New Brunswick, they call them spring peepers.  Where I live in Alberta they are merely called spring frogs.  A polished “peep” is what they sing and I love it!  One spring peeper can be heard but barely, above the beauty of the joyous tinkling water sound.  But thousands literally make the very air reverberate with their lovely chorus.  These peepers emerge from the frogs’ eggs that lie deep within the depths of the muck of the streams during the winter.  In the spring, they hatch and emerge as tiny wee frogs with hearts that sing as beautifully as Susan DoyleI have a dream” of a new life!  (What a magnificent voice that wonderful woman has.  She is a reminder that true beauty lies below the surface of our consciousness.)  That’s a spiritual awakening and a global rise in consciousness for all of us.  Yes, Rebirth time is here!

The first sign of spring is the creek running over the beaver dams that fill my pond or slough.  That’s a sure sign that the thaw is finally here. The only time we hear the water rushing at the farm is this delightful water running sound in the spring.  It seems to sing and shout the joys of rebirth.  We all are awakening from a long winter’s nap where we cocoon here in the north.  This winter annual cocooning gives us time to regenerate our spirits.  We emerge like the water ready to embrace a rebirth and a new life.  Death and rebirth issues are all around us.  The spring signs are a hint of the marvelous rebirth.

Another early sign of spring in these parts are the pussy willows emerging from their buds.  Soft, gentle and waving gaily from the tree tops, the pussy willows reach towards the lovely sunlight.  Sometimes they are fooled on a warm winter’s day when some early bird willows pop out.  But in the true spring, the woods around the pond are alive with the smells and softness of several types of willow.  Their smells later will permeate the air.  The willow twigs I sometimes burn in our wood stove just to have the unique scent.

We are on the migratory route for all kinds of birds.  So the sky if filled right now with sky streams of ducks and Canada Geese honking their way north again.  The bald eagles began appearing a couple of weeks ago.  Soon, very soon, I hope, my beloved swallows will twitter and begin dive bombing the dogs on our farm.  Every year I buy another cedar bird house so their population will grow and they will invite new friends to return with them.  These are natural bug killers and that is yet another reason why I love and support swallows.  Yes, spring is on its way.

Happiness and Joy.  Rebirth. The very earth sings, dances and smells different.  It’s a new world.  It’s a cosmic new life.  It’s the time of your annual rebirth too.  It’s part of our natural earth cycle for all living things in the web of life.

However, let’s tie this into astrology.  The real spring in your birth chart begins with the month you were born.   Each season is comprised of 3 months according to Suskin’s astrology book, Cycles of Life.  Start charting your own seasons and understand your chart more effectively.

Reflection Questions!

1. What are four signs of spring in your part of the world?

2.  How are you rebirthing yourself to be a new and improved YOU model?

3.  In what parts of your life do you need sing to the world about your talents?

4.  In what parts of your life do you need to reach up to the light and grow in your spiritual consciousness?

Affirmations and Intentions:  I intend to read enlightening books every day.  I intend to grow and stretch my heart, body, mind and spirit.

Whatever your life’s pursuit — art, poetry, sculpture, music,

whatever your occupation may be –

you can be as spiritual as clergy,

always living a life of praise.

Angel Dimes of Hope

angels surround us

angels surround us

We all have angels in our lives.  Angels who have passed over to the other side often leave signs that their energy is still around us.  Indeed, while their physical bodies may be gone, their spirit lives on.  While there are many signs, the Dimes of Hope are one of those signs.

A friend of mine did not believe in heaven.  “There is one life on this earth and that was it.  We return to dust”, she told me years ago.  Then her mother, whom she adored, died.  All of a sudden dimes were showing up in the weirdest places.  For example one day when I was visiting her, she wiped off the kitchen table and then sat down to enjoy a cup of coffee.  A dime showed up on the just-wiped off table where she put her coffee mug.

Apparently this grandmother used to stash dimes in her piggy bank.  When her grandchildren came to visit, she was always giving them dimes to buy themselves some penny candy or other little treat.  Grandma would take out a bunch of dimes to purchase those treats.  Her twelve children and many grandchildren associated dimes with Grandmother.  So it is natural that Grandmother would reach out to her family from life beyond this earth to reassure them that she was okay.  Her daughter became a believer of life after death.

The other day, another friend spotted a dime when I was with her.  She had recently moved and was stressed about the move to a new town and a new job.  Coincidentally she kept finding these dimes all around her new location.  She told me these dimes were being sent by her mother to reassure her it would be okay.  She said this was an old Irish belief system.

It is important to remember that when people we love die, they are just on the other side of the doorway.  Perhaps we can’t see them and perhaps we can.  My sensitive sister sees our father frequently when she needs to ask his advice on something.  This has reassured her immensely.  I don’t see people who have passed over, but I frequently will hear their voice with wise words whispering in my head.  I find it strange as I will catch glimpses of my animal friends who have moved to another world, but I don’t get to see people.  Other people will have them come in their dreams and appear as if they are very real and can be touched.  However the angels come to visit you, they are real and their message is clear.  There is life beyond this earthly life.

Reflection Questions!

  1. Do you see angels who have passed over?
  2. Do you hear angels who have died?
  3. Do you dream of people who have left this earth?
  4. Do you smell the people’s unique smell when they are gone?

Affirmations and Intentions:  I intend to being open to the angel messages.

If we had no winter,

the spring would not be so pleasant;

if we did not sometimes taste of adversity,

prosperity would not be so welcome.

(Anne Bradstreet)

Hugs and love from the Universe.
